Q: Dawsy, why did you decide to start this blog?
Dawsy: It has been on my mind for a while. I have been going to these wild shows, underground art pop ups, even just stumbling across street performances, and every time I thought, “Why is no one documenting this?” There is so much talent here in New England, but unless you are in the right place at the right time, you miss it. I wanted to create a space that puts a spotlight on the artists and events that would otherwise go unnoticed.
Q: What kind of things can people expect to see here?
Dawsy: Everything from fresh artists you have never heard of to big events that shape the scene. We will talk trends, what is hot, what is weird, what is next. Think artist spotlights, event recaps, interviews, photo drops, and maybe even behind the scenes stories that usually stay hidden. It is not just about news, it is about building a community where creatives feel seen and inspired.
Q: Why do you feel like now is the right time?
Dawsy: The creative energy here is buzzing. I have seen people putting their whole heart into their craft, music, painting, design, you name it, but the coverage just is not there. Too often the world only notices once it is already mainstream. I want to catch it in the moment, when it is still raw. That is when it is most exciting.
Q: What do you hope readers take away from this?
Dawsy: That they are part of something bigger. Whether you are an artist yourself, a fan of the culture, or just someone curious about what is happening around you, this blog is a hub. I want it to inspire, connect, and push people to get out there and support the creative world around them.
As Dawsy summed it up for us: “I do not just want to watch culture happen. I want to document it, fuel it, and give it the stage it deserves.”
